20\/100 (worn on Monday this week) is one of my favourites – a printed silk that I picked up on impulse while Diwali shopping at Angadi Silks several years ago. Needed this one as a pick me up after a really bad experience on Sunday. <\/p>\n
I was travelling to Pune Sunday night, and a fellow traveller puked all over me. I found out later that he’d been trying to get past the food cart that the flight attendants had stationed just ahead of me, and then couldn’t wait anymore. Why didn’t the idiot think to grab the barf bag in his seat?! Maybe because, as people around later said, he was drunk. <\/p>\n
Anyway, since he was standing up and I was sitting down, I got most of it on my head! Then I had to spend the next 30 minutes trying to wash off all that yucky stuff in the tiny airline bathroom – definitely not to my satisfaction. Flight was late, so reached the TechM guest house at 11 pm, and proceeded to shower like I’d never done before! Finally felt clean only after another full shower on Monday morning, when I decided I needed this saree to feel sparkly for a full day’s workshop with my new team :).<\/p>\n
