\nToday also marked the celebration of my father-in-law\u2019s brother\u2019s 85th birthday. A man who is a source of great inspiration for me (and pretty sure for the rest of the family). He battled cancer for a decade with grit and determination, but did not let it diminish his joie de vivre. He is an active participant in his residence complex and as the eldest of the family, keeps track of the happenings and achievements of each member of the entire family.
\nBut most of all, he is a delightful raconteur. He never fails to regale us with his \u2018AkshayPatra\u2019 of stories of his life. From stories of mis-adventures to stories of courage, how he stood as witness against his boss in an corruption case, each of his stories are as engaging and engrossing as the other.
