\nHere’s the first one I sent to the Saree Pact. It’s one of my favourite sarees….a white Gadwal cotton with a red and gold silk border. Whenever I wear a handloom Saree I think of the artisans in some remote village who must have spent a small fraction of their lives on making my Saree a thing of beauty…..in fact any handmade item brings such a thought to my mind; and I silently thank those unsung heroes and heroines who toil day and night to make this world a better place for us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
