Come December this year, she celebrates her 50th wedding anniversary, so that\u2019s how old this one is. It was bought at Ushnak Mal\u2019s shop in Karol Bagh. Out of the 30 plus sarees she had in her wedding kitty–after all, she was marrying a \u2018vilayat se aaya ladka\u2019, a young man, who had just returned with a doctorate in Physics from Harvard University–this one remains her favourite.
