\nThere is something mystical about Rajasthan. When I landed in Jodhpur airport, I told my husband that I felt like I had been there before, there was a familiarity in the air that was quite sinister. It was a great holiday and the sights, smells and sounds of the place are captivating. Riding the sands in a jeep and then on a camel, followed by the most amazing sunset are experiences amongst many others that flood my mind every time I drape a saree I bought during this visit. One can\u2019t go to the land of the royals and return without buying what the Rajasthanis call the \u2018Maharani\u2019 saree. The smart salesman who saw the \u2018saree weakness\u2019 in me, began to entice me with sarees galore. But this particular saree caught my husband\u2019s eye and he purchased it for me without any encouragement from my side (a very rare thing)!! The texture of the saree is beautiful with tiny sparkles (something like mukesh work). Though a little difficult to drape, once done, it falls beautifully.
