\nWhen Lakshmi and I went to Kanchipuram to source sarees for Laavanyam, this saree just sang to me-with its colors and more so with its exquisite traditional motifs on the borders and Pallu. It has elephants, horses, Swargapakshis, the mythological Yali andmore -all vying for attention in a heavy Kanjivaram. I draped this at a pooja on 27th March 2015 in California. It is a heavy saree and the cool weather there definitely helped me in carrying it off effortlessly.
