Picked a lemon yellow and green ombre kota for the school run today. I’ve never been a kota fan, not because of its stiffness, but because it is almost daily wear in UP. I grew up seeing housewives wearing it around the house to do their daily chores and it didn’t seem special. Now that I look back on it, so many of them starched these crisply and wore them with pride. With at least 4 safety pins. But somehow it almost always seemed like the kota wore you, not the other way around.
\nAnd you know how I feel about things that have a mind of their own (when clearly they should be following my superior mind!). Not while on my body, buddy!
\nAnd so I paired this with a mithai-pink screen printed blouse and twisted it around my neck to suit me. It seems unharmed, spirit unbroken – but I don’t feel overwhelmed by it either. And I’m loving the Rajmata look.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
