\nI travelled in Mumbai local trains almost all my life. I never managed to jump on time to get a seat. So I was always one of those who stood in the passage to the door clutching on to the rod over my head.
\nSummers were especially torturous. Think mad mad heat and rivers of sweat. And then if you had the good fortune of standing next to a lady who was wearing a synthetic saree with matching blouse then hell took on a whole new meaning. Think her sweaty back and clingy wet saree. And you will never look at the bollywood waterfall scene with the same eyes again.
\nAt that time I wished a legislation was passed to ban synthetic sarees in the summer.
\nI stuck to resolving that I would never subject a fellow human being to what I had gone through.
\nHence only cotton for me.
