Yet, that is exactly what my beautiful mother Vatsala did one fine Sunday in January. Yes this is a 3 month old photo, but fits perfectly into the saree pact thanks to Anju and Ally, else it would have only been relegated to yet another digital photo in the comp.<br \/>\nThis is yet another gifted saree gifted to my very gifted Mom (don&#8217;t go all &#8216;Aiyo!&#8217; now, I thrive on being a terrible punner :P) by her mother and my beloved Amamma, Sarojini Nayak, who has featured in the sareepact in an earlier photo. Don&#8217;t know what it is about the saree, but I think it makes Mom look all regal-like when she wears it.<br \/>\nThis pic was taken after a wedding where I happily stuffed my face &#8211; in my defense the lunch menu had some 8 different &#8216;podis&#8217; or spice powders to be mixed with steaming hot rice&#8230;heavenly! Eeep&#8230;how did saree fotu become about food? Aiyo! Shall stop now tongue emoticon<br \/>\nSaree is a parrot green Kanjeevaram with a rich pink border and fine lines running all through it.
