This pic is about four years old. It was Ugadi and just after my divorce. I was feeling lonely and missing family life. After a couple of hours of self-pity, I got up, said to myself “Stop this nonsense, woman. Get out of the house, walk to Jayanagar 4th block and make yourself happy shopping”.<\/p>\n

Did just that. Walked into Deepam, picked this saree, forgot all my blues, came back home singing a happy song.<\/p>\n

A week later it was Indus Day and I wore this saree with some chunky silver jewellery and had a ball flaunting it\u00a0Self pity? Loneliness? What’s that??<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
