I got this kasavu as a gift few years back, on a visit to Kochi. I have always admired the pristine elegance of this saree, and the inaugural drape was promptly done the very next day, using whichever blouse I was carrying with me at that time.
\nEver since I have planned to drape it with the honor it deserved, at Onam, with the right blouse and accessories and somehow that never happened. Two years passed and every Onam I have somehow been traveling in colder climes on business, and the saree did not find its way into that schedule.<\/p>\n
Then today with the nine auspicious days of Navratri, the color of the day was white and I impulsively took out this saree. Matched it with a golden blouse keeping in mind the festive spirit, and decided to keep the accessories to a minimum with pearl tops and my fav mangalsutra.<\/p>\n
