Saree #2: Soft silk
\nThere are lots of gifts you get, some you keep, some you don’t. Among the ones you keep, there are ones that you treasure.
\nThose are the ones that have beautiful tales woven in them, the ones that don’t stop with just being a piece of cloth or just another saree.<\/p>\n
This particular saree, a soft silk in my favourite colour blue, was gifted by my aunt for my cousin brother’s wedding as per our custom of gifting clothes to relatives. It was also the start of a renewed relationship that may not have sustained had it not been for my dear brother deciding to get married at the right time! So there, that’s the reason I treasure it.
