I make it a point to dress in sarees at work specially when I have to attend important meetings. Sarees actually make a power statement the Indian way and command a lot more respect than any other form of office wear. They are elegant, graceful and feminine and yet formal and businesslike. I can’t resist the temptation to buy beautiful ethnic silk sarees at exhibitions but many were lying unused in my cupboard. I had joined the pact online last year and now make it a point to wear sarees at least twice a week.
