\nA special Saree featured many times in the pact this yellow black and white jute silk begged to be worn yesterday . Another flight , another trip out of Bombay but needed to go straight to place of work from airport so it had to be a Saree . And “work” being very special too . Chai for Cancer Adda on World Cancer Day by the Novartis Offices in Hyderabad. So armed with the Chai for Cancer kit there I was at the airport early and bright in the morning .
\nThe Saree won me many compliments but more precious are the hugs and hullos from my beloved volunteers in Hyderabad and the absolute generosity of the Novartis associates , already our partners in caring for over 18,000 patients and now supporting our awareness and fundraising venture.
\nIn the midst of all the running around and setting up the stall and delivering my talk on Chai for Cancer to a packed hall I did find time to take THE Pact Picture or should I say ardent pactbfollower and admirer and volunteer Vicky it was who did that !
