We have several candid chats that ranges from Tagore to Tollywood, dance drama to fusion food; home-interiors, trekking, jewellery, saree, music, philosophy of God- the topics have wide horizons. She stands beside me through thick and thin…
She is actually the best and closest companion of my father…..
I was a bit hesitant for quite long how to handle this tender relationship of my father’s, but eventually through her sheer naturalness, love, sincerity and care, today WE are closer individuals…. We have developed a special affinity for each-other.
Nandita Madam has a fine sense of smaller details of life; she had everything in life- dotting father, to family, to beloved to 3 beautiful daughters….But fate had a bitter game. She was ditched by Life. All her plans, dreams were shuttered and she almost went for a self-exile….
After my Mom’s departure, my father too was a lonely soul…. Somehow destiny played the trick.
And today they are together, wonderful companions to each other in this second childhood of their life.
Since the day I started this saree series, I planned to dedicate an exclusive story to her, to our woman-bonding.
94/100 #100sareepact is a story of ‪#‎woman‬-bonding ‪#‎gifts‬ ‪#‎Saree‬-love ‪#‎unpredictable‬-relationships of Life‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
This crème based pure silk, portrays busy designs in different patterns and formats. Through a network of various colours the saree establishes its vibrant presence. The beautiful golden ‘Aari’ work adds that finer detail with a touch of uncommonness. The new kantha blouse was a perfect contrast-match.
This 6-yard is a gift by Nandita Madam and for 94/100 shoot, the piece got inaugurated!
On the other hand she wore a saree, a green light tussar silk with abstract designs throughout the body; a gift from my end smile emoticon
The final look was paired with her simple smile and natural vibrancy; no-make up, ne extra deck up!
With hair parting-change and touching a bit of pearl, here she comes, out of her silent shell, for the first time to pose with me in an open forum for my #100sareepact series.
I along with my God know, who was the happiest soul during my 94/100 moment and how was he feeling to capture and witness this candid mood.
Appa knows my fondness towards Nandita madam, and how much I love the song ‘Sound of Silence ‘….

It was a late teen-hood autumn!
