My cousin sister stays in London and she has twin daughters\u2026 she follows my saree stories and being a designer herself suggests inputs. Since she was planning to come to Kolkata by December, we both came up with this idea of \u2018Twin Drape\u2019! But to my surprise, my craziness crossed all barriers when I customized this saree for this special story.<\/p>\n
Last time when I met them I came to know their favourite colours are Orange & Pink. I was wearing something Brown, and thus I became their Browny Masi \ud83d\ude42
\nYes, for obvious reason 80\/100 saree became a 50:50 combination of Orange & Pink, while the borders, blouse presented the Brown touches.<\/p>\n
My friend, designer Piya was very happy to create a design with such an uncommon colour combination, and after hearing the reason she was supperr excited!
\nThe dark wall at the sister\u2019s place became the natural background; the orange & pink neck pieces got revealed, while he same combinations of lipstick (literally orange and pink) covered my lips.
\nThe cute twins draped my dupattas as sarees; one Kantha the other Madhubani work\u2026.;)<\/p>\n
