This Saree was a favourite from yeaaaaaaars ago, sent by my mother from one of the Gariahat Saree shops she will remember . A Murshidabad silk, it has the prettiest Mughal miniature style pictures of women doing their daily chores, minding kids, puja, dressing up, playing music, and yes, even taking a stroll in the garden, while the men are going for hunting and war…. Cute I thought. Just my type… Work and play combined type! Like my day! And it’s got a sheen that’s not faded after these fourteen-fifteen odd years.<\/p>\n
