Two different occasions of lunching with friends offered the opportunity to wear two more of my embroidered sarees.<\/p>\n
The mehendi green one is done up in a single colour – cream, using a simple chain stitch pattern all over, which has completely transformed the otherwise, very plain saree.<\/p>\n
The black one has multicolour phulkari work done all over, and the contrast with black really brightens the silken threads in different hues.<\/p>\n
