#87 Few sarees don’t have stories, they have emotions attached to it. This is one such saree. It came to me as a gift in “Sinjara” for Karvachauth after my roka….the most beautiful period between enagement and marriage.
\nMy in-laws sent this saree along with one more saree, some jewellery and sweets. This came with lot of love, blessings and sentiments. As I was the first bahu in there family so everyone was super excited.
\n My sister-in-law and her family came down to my parents house with all the gifts. There were lot of prepartions done for their swagat satkaar.
\nI am not sure about the weave of this saree and from which state it comes. It has buti’s like Paithani, border like Ikat…it’s woven of very fine silk and has a beautiful colour combination!
