Not a dessert, but my saree…a soft, chocolate-brown mysore silk; once again from my wedding collection. <\/p>\n
It was a gift from my maami-ji and was originally a mustard saree with a bright red border (the combo used to be called the Draupadi saree after it was popularized by the actress playing Draupadi in BR Chopra’s epic TV serial \u2013 Mahabharat). <\/p>\n
Unfortunately, I spilled some coffee on it and it left a dark stain which wouldn’t wash off. So I took the saree to a rangrez and got it dyed into this brown color. I’m now enjoying it in its new avataar! <\/p>\n
