\nDraping a saree is the easy part. Documenting it and, worse, doing so publicly is what makes the #100sareepact particularly difficult for me.
\nWhich is why this photograph is a milestone. Not only is the saree an old one, badly in need of a makeover, it’s also badly crushed after a day of very rough wear. The photograph is also terrible, with the light washing off half my face and shadows obscuring the other half.
