I wore this blue and maroon Kanjeevaram, again a prasaadi Saree, something that the ashram’s Devi wore and which was gifted to me for my aiburobhaat, as they say here kelvan.. The feast with the relatives the day before marriage… The last lunch at your natal home before the D day! <\/p>\n
I wear it only for Pujas and such like, as I was strictly told to be careful with it. Today I wore it with two other precious gifts, a jhumka of my grandmother and a locket gifted to me by my grandmother ( my mother’s aunt and adoptive mother you can say ) …. <\/p>\n
