This drape is a tribute to all the Bengali Bombshells on the pact. For me, being Bengali means refinement of taste, a love for art and larger than life romance and history. You’ve brought that to the pact, Shundoris. Thank you.<\/p>\n

As a child my mother would compare me to an elephant’s trunk because I couldn’t sit still. It is said an elephant never stops moving it’s trunk as long as it is alive. Did you know that ? <\/p>\n
Clearly I haven’t changed, I was busy talking to the daughter as the husband was trying to get me to look at the camera. <\/p>\n
The Dance of Kali is a gift from a dear friend on the pact who was called Madanyu- baby elephant by her family. ( Hamara kya hoga, Madanyu ? ) <\/p>\n
Deepa Mehta, I will wear this saree with great pride. It shall always remind me that Durga is within each one of us. <\/p>\n
