\nThis saree was a gift by my bhabhi (sister-in-law) and I wore it for first time on the occasion of Diwali in the year 2008 or 2009. She bought it from Angadi Silks Jayanagar, Bangalore. Today, I wore it after 6-7 years. And I could notice today that it is a very pretty saree with a lot of different things on it, e.g. its a unique combination of Rani color and an orange color that can not be expressed, but is a treat for eyes. Then it has Mukaish work on it and beautiful orange pallu hand weaved. I was admiring the saree while wearing it and was enjoying it. This is one of the best saree work and I value it much. I read on DO 100 Saree Pact that Orange is the color for day 6. So here is my story in a saree that also has an adoring orange color; thinking of the powers of Ma Kathyayini; values of family, sharing and caring builds a strong foundation and helps one to get connected over the period with one’s own soul.
