Gadwal Sarees have been very popular since the 1930s. Basically these are cotton sarees with an attached silk border and silk pallu (aanchal) . One can always identify a Gadwal for its unique border and uncommon gorgeous pallu.

\nWhenever I have seen Gadwal it made me feel, very ethnic and dignified. The combinations are abstract and unpredictable!! <\/p>\n
43\/100 piece is a bottle green cotton Gadwal, with a wonderful black grape coloured border and golden zaree. The pallu does not have any similarity rather that adds the attraction for an uncommon contrast. With one of my favourite golden\/pearl designer jewellery set , the final look was pleasant & cool!<\/p>\n
Cotton has never been my choice to attend any dinner event. But the wine coloured blouse gelled so well with this Gadwal that I could not resist but wear and attend the wine dinner \ud83d\ude09
