Saree #22<\/p>\n
My last trip home to Lucknow, my mom pulled out a few of her sarees and asked me to pick out whatever I would want to wear and take them with me to KL. This is one of her old chiffon sarees, that I have a feeling, I helped her pick almost 25 years ago or so. I have been having somewhat of an anxious week and needed her love and warmth around me, hence decided to iron her saree last night for work today. This marks a first for me, wearing sarees consecutively for two days to work in KL.<\/p>\n
I resemble my mother quite a bit, and this saree is making me feel a lot like her today, which is a very happy feeling. I feel connected, secure and loved in it.
