My mom , RIP, insisted on my buying this saree 25 yrs back at the handloom exhibition in Delhi. She quite liked its color \u2013 Gaajari (carrot pink) as she would say. I was not too keen on buying it as it was not an everyday wear, especially being silk, but she was very sure that this color would suit me and since it is not too heavy, with a small border and nice aanchal, it is quite easily wearable.<\/p>\n
So, last friday when I noticed it on the hanger while surfing thru my wardrobe, I said \u2018why not\u2019 and wore it to work with fond memories and moist eyes.
