\nTeej refers to the \u201cthird day\u201d that falls every month after the new moon (amavasya) and the third day after the full moon night every month.
\nThe monsoon festival of Teej includes Hariyali teej,Kajrari teej and hartalika teej. Hariyali takes place on the third day of shulka pakasha of shravan .Hariyali means greenery as the earths gets renewed after a hot summer in savan month. The day of hariyali teej marks a special significance in the lives of married Indian woman. Teej is very popular in parts of north INDIA
