I made an impromptu trip to see my mom in Lucknow from KL last week and boy, don’t good times just fly away! I was with her for a little over a week and have no idea where time vanished ( i know a week is too short, but that’s all I got off from work) Ran my errands for a couple days in Delhi and then spent the rest of the time in Lucknow, my hometown.<\/p>\n
So due to the pact and my own personal resolve to wear more sarees, I encouraged mom to wear one too, to dinner at my chacha’s place (I call all my father’s friends chacha) Meeting over dinner at chacha’s place whenever I visit Lucknow is one of those rituals that has been carrying on since I left for my under-grad back in the 90s. It’s always a special and fun time, which was made even more fun due to the sarees, and both of us got compliments as a testimony \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
