While some travel on roads walked upon before…others pave their own paths and take the roads less travelled. This road less travelled could simply mean anything from being my own person, to leading my own life without the influence of others. Ever since my first step in school,.I have absorbed certain ideas naturally and started getting lost in the crowd. I knew I had to study hard and not let my parents down…I knew I had to gain the appreciation of my teachers so I needed to behave in a particular way. ..I needed to settle down with a boy my parents chose to be considered an ideal daughter. ..I needed to earn my place in the new house …I needed to have kids and bring them up again to follow a known and trodden path. Really.?
\nUntil the #100SareePact came along…and I began to rediscover myself as a person …an individual not a daughter. .a wife or a mother. From being the family photographer to the one facing the camera. ..from shifting the limelight from the husband and kids and focussing on myself…from limiting myself to a small group of friends to making new bonds…the pact has indeed led me to a road less travelled onto a journey I am enjoying.<\/p>\n
