There is no story to tell about this saree. It was bought by me just on an impluse. As soon as I saw this saree, I fell in love with the color Purple. It is such a nice, pale purple color, with an equally pale pink pallu, with tiny buttas in pink and silver. It has a very thin woven silver border. This is a Coimbatore cotton saree bought in a handloom shop in Bangalore, where, I live. This saree is almost 20 years old, and the blouse too is that old. I had to remove a few stitches to fit into it.
