Blue leheriya print ,it was so light that I could not drape it properly ,so I thought putting a border to give some weight \u2026..one inch silver border and some silver pieces added some weight but still it is the lightest saree that I have\u2026from where I bought it this is also a story \u2026..i was at my mom\u2019s place means in Luknow it was June 2001 I was reading the news paper n someone knocked at the door \u2026..a man standing with a polythene in the hand\u2026\u2026.what???…..didi kuch saree hai dekh lo \u2026\u2026saree in this small polythene ???? I was confused \u2026..by the time he took out 4-5 lehariya print saree tie like a duppatta \u2026..i still remember the colors one this blue\u2026.yellow\u2026.green \u2026..orange\u2026I picked this blue \u2026..ya this is first blue saree \u2026\u2026I picked this because I did\u2019nt had a blue saree that time\u2026So in this way this saree became a part of my closet \u2026..my first lightest lehariya and first blue saree\u2026\u2026
\nLehariya is a traditional art of dyeing with tie and dye process in Rajasthan\u2026we all know lehariya is the name given because of its pattern \u2026\u2026zigzag pattern of irregular color stripes is a visual invocation of the flow of water\u2026\u2026\u2026.no small wonder that the blues in lehriya attract the eyes instinctively \u2026\u2026.!!!
